Nursing Areas Nursing in a children's hospital can be the very rewarding. We offer opportunities in a wide range of specialties. From Emergency and Trauma Care to a nationally-recognized Neuroscience Institute, there is a career perfect for you.	Child Life Internship Program The child life internship is a concentrated fourteen (14) week placement within the health care system where qualified students gain practical intensive experience in the child life profession.
Pediatric RN Intern Program Our program is designed to help the new graduate nurse apply nursing theory, develop advanced nursing skills and perform competently in a pediatric setting.	Pediatric Critical Care for Respiratory Therapists Our Pediatric Critical Care Internship for Respiratory Therapists program provides us with the opportunity to help respiratory therapists feel more comfortable shifting to a new area.
Pediatric Pharmacy Residency Program The University of Tennessee created the residency program with Le Bonheur in 1976 making this one of the oldest pediatric residency programs in the country. Since that time over 80 individuals completed their post-doctoral training in this program.
