Heart Institute
About eight in every 1,000 children are born with a congenital heart defect. The only pediatric cardiovascular program in the Mid-South, the Heart Institute at Le Bonheur offers extensive services in this area.

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Le Bonheur Children’s Medical Center is a designated Level III C unit, providing comprehensive care to critically ill newborns within a family-centered environment.
