Kids Need More Than Medicine

For a parent, there is nothing scarier than the thought of a sick child. Even the most common ailment can make a parent worry. If that illness requires a trip to the hospital that makes things makes things even scarier. That's why Le Bonheur Children's Hospital has a 19-member team of Child Life specialists on staff. The Child Life specialists are trained to help ease the fears children often have while in the hospital.
