What is MAC?
The aerodigestive program is a multidisciplinary program that diagnoses and treats pediatric patients with complex multi-systematic problems affecting airway, breathing, feeding, swallowing, or growth.
Conditions Treated:
- Oropharyngeal dysphagia (Difficulty swallowing liquids, solids or both), Laryngomalacia, Laryngeal Cleft, Tracheomalacia, Subglottic Stenosis, Tracheal Stenosis, VPI, Allergic Rhinitis, Food Sensitivities
- Laryngopharyngeal Reflux, Gastroesphageal Reflux, Delayed Gastric Emptying, Eosinophilic Esophagitis, Short Gut, Constipation
- Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Pneumonia, Bronchitis, Obstructive Sleep Amnea, Reactive Asthma Disease, Asthma, Bronchiectasis
- Oral Aversion, Feeding Difficulties, Tongue Tie, Lip Tie
- Esophageal stricture, Tracheal-Esophageal Fistula

Dr. Weatherall, a pediatric surgeon, is the surgical director of Le Bonheur’s Healthy Lifestyle Clinic. She completed her general surgery training at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, Florida, and her pediatric surgery fellowship training at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. Her clinical focus includes adolescent bariatric surgery, robotic surgery, and other complex pediatric and neonatal surgical processes.
