At Le Bonheur Children’s, we offer comprehensive subspecialty care for adolescents and young adults ages 8 to 24, addressing their unique physical, emotional and social needs.
 
Our multidisciplinary team creates a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for patients and their families. We specialize in caring for young people experiencing:
  • Puberty and developmental changes
  • High-risk behaviors (substance use, unprotected sexual activity, running away and other risky actions)
  • Disordered eating
  • Pediatric gynecological conditions
We are committed to helping adolescents navigate this critical stage of life with compassion and expert care.

Services We Provide:

  • General adolescent health concerns, including puberty and developmental changes, mental health challenges and high-risk behaviors
  • Comprehensive care for eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder and avoidant-restrictive food intake disorder
  • Pediatric/Adolescent Reproductive Health:
    • Counseling and management for menstrual management in medically complex adolescents
    • Diagnosis and treatment of heavy, irregular or painful menstrual cycles
    • Contraception, including long-acting reversible contraception (intrauterine devices, Nexplanon implants)
    • Adolescent polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)
    • HIV Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis
    • Management and prevention of sexually transmitted infections
    • Pediatric gynecological conditions
  • Substance use treatment (ages 8-25)
