Cystic Fibrosis Center
The University of Tennessee Cystic Fibrosis Care and Research Center at Le Bonheur Children’s is one of the nation’s leaders in caring for children and adults with cystic fibrosis (CF). We focus on addressing nutritional needs of children with cystic fibrosis to help patients live longer.
The Cystic Fibrosis Center has a dedicated CF clinic at Le Bonheur and outreach clinics in Tupelo, Miss., and Jackson, Tenn. A multi-disciplinary clinic, patients will see doctors from multiple specialties, nurses, nutritionists, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, social workers, and pharmacists all in one visit. These experts work together to insure your child gets personalized care. The adult CF program provides CF care and works with the pediatric team for smooth transition to adult care.
Our center is also a national Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network Center giving patients access to the newest cystic fibrosis therapies and research. We have full accreditation from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
The CF team also works closely with the Mid South CF Patient and Parent Advisory Council to improve care and education about the disease.
