Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital will host its 12th annual Pediatric Research Day on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, from 7:45 a.m.to 4 p.m., in the Chesney Auditorium and Faculty Office Building Auditoriums.
The goal of this meeting is to bring together researchers and clinicians from Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, the Children’s Foundation Research Institute and other institutions to facilitate discussions on the latest research findings, medical advances, and scientific innovations.
The overarching theme of the 12th Pediatric Research Day is "Research and Diversity: Superpowers When Linked." The James C. Hunt Keynote Address will be given by Russell J. Ledet, MD, PhD, MBA, triple board resident at the University of Indiana School of Medicine. In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to hear presentations on current research and network with investigators working in a wide range of scientific and medical fields.

Poster Presentation Guidelines
- Posters must be displayed from Sept. 19 at 4:30 p.m. until Sept. 20 at 4 p.m. Authors are responsible for removing their posters by Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. Any posters that are not removed by this time will be discarded.
- First authors must be present at their posters on Sept. 20 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. on for judges.
- Posters must fit stands that are 4’× 6’ and the title, authors and affiliations must be legible at the top.
- Pushpins and velcro stickers will be available to presenters.
