CVICU Nurses

Le Bonheur’s Heart Institute is nationally recognized as a top pediatric cardiology and heart surgery program.  We care for patients with congenital heart defects like y –heart failure and arrhythmias – and acquired heart disease from before birth to adulthood.

Le Bonheur also has a thriving heart transplant program that performs around 10 heart transplants a year.

Le Bonheur is currently expanding its Heart Institute and Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). As a CVICU nurse, you will work with some of the country’s best critical care nurses and cardiologist in a critical care or step-down environment.

Cardiac Advance Practice Nurses

The Cardiac ICU and Stepdown at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital has expanded, and we are looking to build an Advanced Practice team to support our growth. Our team has strong divisional support to provide exceptional care to a diverse patient population with congenital and acquired heart disease, including perioperative, heart failure, transplant, and mechanical circulatory support patients. We are committed to our team members’ professional growth and are seeking candidates eager to work within the multidisciplinary team to perform at top of scope and licensure. Education/Experience/Licensure

• Completion of a master's degree or higher in a nursing specialty
• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Certification
• At least 3 years nursing experience, preferably pediatric, at the RN level or higher
• RN with current license to practice in state of employment and Advanced practice licensure.
• Certified in Basic Cardiac Life Support
